This is heartbreaking and the parents’ response disgusting!
In February of this year, a 15 year old boy was shot and killed in class because he was gay. His parent’s are now suing the school, blaming them for allowing him to wear feminine clothing and makeup. First of all, shouldn’t they as his parents be determining his dress? And second, who the f*&^ cares what he wore. Does wearing girls clothes make it okay to kill a young boy?
This story breaks my heart. I was not unlike Larry King. I didn’t wear makeup, but I was (and still am) effeminate. He could have been almost any gay teen, which is what I hope people begin to realize. This sort of hatred and intolerance has no place in our society, regardless of belief systems!

Really?
Today I was sitting at a coffee shop on Capitol Hill when I heard REALLY loud bagpipe music. I looked all around to see what was going on, but it died down quickly. I soon realized it was coming from a car. Later, when walking home, I heard the bagpipe music again. I totally expected to see a Scottish looking guy or gal in a mini or something… I felt the music called for it. Instead, I saw a huge SUV with a really big African American man wearing really business-y attire. I kinda cracked me up, because it was not what I expected. ![]()
