Cheating on your wife with your brother’s wife is generally in bad taste. But when the result looks like him, I am willing to practice forgiveness.

The sad thing is, I am kind of excited.
What happened to Scary Spice? She looks more like Eddie Murphy’s Baby’s Momma Spice… which is kind of scary, I guess.

In anti-gay United Arab Emirates, this is how a male rape victim is treated.Yet, our country sends billions of dollars in foreign investments, not to mention that we tried to sell them our ports. Why not invest our money in developing countries who don’t treat glbt people so egregiously!?
Wow… there is a lot of gay news this week.

So, there is no evidence that Principal Schum is anti-glbt, so I will not lump him with the Republican idiots getting caught in gay sex scandals. But, he is the head of a Catholic school in the south… so I will go out on a limb and make the assumption that he isn’t overly glbt friendly.
This is just getting to be weird.
If I were a transgendered person, I would be pissed. Fundamentalist idiots always give the rest of us glbt folks a bad rap. The hypocrisy of their double lives (openly conservative and anti-glbt, closeted kinkster) pisses me off. The have the benefit of dictating our lives legally (as in the politicians) or administratively (as in the principal), yet get to have the gay/transgendered perks as well.

I am very torn about this. Yes, what the Westboro Baptist Church, and it’s leader Fred Phelps does at glbt and veteran funerals is despicable. But, what about free speech and freedom of assembly? The lawsuit says that Phelps & Co. intended to inflict emotional distress and invaded the families privacy. I agree. Of course they were trying to inflict emotional distress. What else could they be doing? I just wonder if this is, in some way, limiting people’s ability to voice their opinions and assemble - regardless of how disgusting their message may be.

I really like Dennis Kucinich. I realize that he is in a unique position as a political candidate, one that isn’t likely to get a nomination and isn’t, sadly, taken serious. Because of this, he is able to say and do as he believes - unlike every other political candidate.
The latest thing he has said is that we need to question Bush’s mental health. A president that is going around talking about WWIII and then sanctions a country with a crazy president does need some mental health screening.
